What an absolute whirlwind of a session! There is nothing quite like that pre-shoot adrenaline when you’re refreshing the weather app every ten minutes, fully prepared to embrace the "moody Northwest" vibe, only for the universe to pull a complete 180.

The St. Johns Bridge is iconic, but it’s a completely different beast when the sun hits those green spires. Moving from a "rain plan" to bright sun and blue skies is the ultimate gift for a photographer. It’s like the sky cleared specifically to highlight Jessica’s pregnancy glow!

It was such a joy to see this family again. I first met them when I photographed Baby Celine for her newborn session, and I couldn't believe how much she has grown! This time around, I got to meet big brother Noah for the first time. Seeing him step into his role as the protective older sibling was one of my favorite parts of the day.

Jessica made a truly stunning expecting Mama. The sunlight hitting the bridge’s iconic green spires provided the perfect backdrop for her maternity portraits.

The fur babies joined in on the fun, too! They were just as excited to be part of the action and burn off some energy at the park.

Even though this was a quick, packed-full mini-session, we squeezed every ounce of joy out of it. Between the singing, the constant laughter, and the "miracle" weather, it was a session I won't soon forget.

I am so incredibly honored to be the one capturing this family as they grow. While this session was all about the anticipation of a new arrival, I am already counting down the days until their newborn session when I get to meet the newest member of the crew!
